How to Choose Paints
Different rooms place different demands upon painted surfaces. Here are a few guidelines to follow when choosing the right finish for your paint.

1. Decorating paints can be divided into two main groups: emulsion paints and enamel paints. For interior walls and ceilings, you can use emulsion paints. For wood surfaces like doors, window frames, tables, chairs and cupboards; or metal surfaces like fence and metal doors, you can use enamel paints.

2. You can choose the suitable paint according to your needs and budget. For example, if you are living in humid areas, paints with superior fungus and mould resistance are necessary to keep the walls long lasting. If you have young children who love to draw on the walls, it is better to choose paints that are easily washable. If you want to use more colours, paints with wide range of colours to mix and match are your best choice.
